My first suggestion is, don't have this like the Ron Paul Meet Up Groups mailing list. Every email sent by it's members goes out to everyone on the mailing list. By the second day your email box is so full of foolish suggestion & petty remarks back & fourth, that you almost want to get off the mailing list. This Freedom March they plan just loads my box every few hours.

Yours would be better organized if everyone had to visit your site to post suggestions.

I know for sure, campus-based anti-war groups would eat this up once it gets legs.

As a broke college student, it's hard to say whether I will be able to attend. If I can pull it off, I will be traveling every weekend in June, while tackling 9 hours of courses over the summer.

But it would be great if this message and pitch was carried to the assembly as a major point of discussion and strategizing.

From ToniJean: My Rep is Ed Markey; We held an ER town mtg on Superbowl Sunday where he tried to make the audience believe he was holding Bush accountable by signing some "censure" bill...and that winning in Nov was more important ......911truthers spoke up to the point where police were called in. There was about 200 people given the "day"...,Ironically, Markey had called an ER town mtg on Impeachment 2 years ago...and now he's silent....these reps are either being bribed, threatened or whatever, they are not going to Impeach...so we are working to run someone against markey.....until then, only WALL ST talks....and the sooner the better.....

please spread the word of the plan..why spend time/energy and OUR precious money protesting in DC to be ignored? unless we get in the streets outside reps personal residences...who is going to care?

So I am on my PERSONAL CONSUMER FAST to the best of my ability- right down to unplugging my microwave...and turning off other peoples lights in public/office bldgs when I pass through...no ATM or credit card use..etc- .we have to stop feeding the corporations that fund congress/bush....

You need to coordinate this with www.pledgetoimpeach.org ? What is the point of striking if there is no demand? And we don't receive something in return like Impeachment, or war funding stopped? We can accomplish an economic message right now with an ongoing Consumer Fast -no strike required- If we aren't buying, trucks and longshoreman would have nothing to move or unload right???

Unfortunately, what you are advocating in terms of massive strikes and demonstrations has been tried before and has never had any effect on the crimes being committed against all of us. Mobilization of the masses is next to impossible as long as most people continue their addiction to the mainstream media.

What is really needed is a scandal that could not be ignored by the mainstream. It would have to be carefully and clandestininely orchestrated with high profile individuals, and whistle blowers making live comments on TV, and supporting each other when the controversy started.

Critical mass through grassroots activism will not be enough, regardless of how many people suspect they are being lied to about any number of important issues.

How can I say that? Because I've learned from experience the size of the gorilla we are up against. I was involved briefly with the UFO Disclousure movement, and I now understand the dynamics of how truth is suppressed every minute of every day, everywhere around the world.

I would like to be included in your e-mail alerts. I don't know that I can be any help, but I'd love to be able to pass on any info I could.

As it turns out, I intend to protest the vote.......Election.

My husband is upset about this, and there is realistically the chance that I won't go through with it simply to spare him. That said..........I feel like the "choices" are really not choices at all. Obama now has the nomination, (though Clinton would have been no better) and then there's McCain.

When I was a kid, and even as an adult, I've heard the same things over and over............"You can't complain if you don't vote" and "Sometimes you have to choose the lesser of the evils". In my mind one evil is not better than the other. EVIL IS EVIL. I'm not saying that the nominees are evil persay, but in the end they all promise what they need to and deliver nothing.

It's not even like this something new............in fact it's just the "same ole song and dance", and I'm tired of it.

I'm tired of being lied to, I'm tired of watching the kids get lobotomized, sick, violent, I'm tired of seeing the politicians get richer, and the corporations get bigger, and all the while the rest of us get further behind.

It bothers me terribly that as a nation we send "aid" to countries like Israel, yet in our own country we can't afford health insurance. I'm terrified by the thought of losing my home like so many others have, and angered knowing that those at the "top" will never know that fear.

As a nation we push our "morals" on the rest of the world, yet don't practice them at home.

In the end, as much as I love my country, I also have an equal amount of shame in it. In the way it treats it's own, and in the way it promotes"peace" around the world.

Truth be told.....................I'm skeptical that there will even BE an election.
